All users of BrgyAlert are expected to comply with the following rules and regulations:

1. Accurate Reporting

• All incident reports must be truthful and accurate
• False or misleading information is strictly prohibited
• Reports must include accurate location and time information

2. Appropriate Use

• The system is intended for legitimate emergency and incident reporting only
• Do not use the system for pranks, hoaxes, or non-emergency situations
• Respect the privacy and dignity of all parties involved

3. Verification Requirements

• All reports must include valid contact information
• Photo evidence may be required for verification
• Users must respond to verification requests from barangay officials

4. User Conduct

• Maintain respectful communication with barangay officials
• Do not abuse or misuse the reporting system
• Follow all instructions from authorized personnel

Sanctions

Violation of these rules and regulations may result in the following sanctions:

First Offense

• Warning and account suspension for 7 days
• Mandatory review of system rules and regulations

Second Offense

• Account suspension for 30 days
• Requirement to provide additional verification

Third Offense or Serious Violations

• Permanent account termination
• Possible legal action for false reporting or abuse
• Reporting to appropriate authorities if necessary

Appeal Process

Users who believe they have been unfairly sanctioned may appeal their case by contacting the barangay office directly or through official channels.
